形态描述
尾鳍上的黑褐色斑点在小个体中为不规则排列，而在大个体中排列成4—7条“V”或“W”型的斑纹。雄性小个体体侧中轴具一宽度略大于眼径的深色条纹，而雌性小个体为一条浅色细纹或和大个体一样为一列黑褐色斑点。
生物学
This small loach is found in Tengchong county, Yunnan Province, and inhabits the mountain streams and ditches of Irrawaddy River system. This species is an ornamental fish. It is also found in India and Burma.
